… feel more interesting than in other places.
I know, it sounds like I’m talking bollocks doesn’t it … but seriously, the clouds feel different in Blighty – both in the way they look and the way the sun interacts with them – which all combines to create another little thing that makes England feel more like home than anywhere else I live or have lived.
What a shame that feeling only lasts till I go out onto the streets or turn on the telly … ha!

clouds? fucking clouds? fuck me the events of the last 72 hours have affected you more than we thought. then youve walked with your head in them for so fucking long that maybe this is just normal.
normal for twatty planners that is.
Comment by andy@cynic November 9, 2010 @ 1:16 amI don’t trust any place that doesn’t get clouds within the space of 3 days
Comment by andreea November 9, 2010 @ 1:21 amI like that Andreea – I don’t know why I like it – but I do.
Comment by Rob November 9, 2010 @ 1:25 amwhat on earth are you talking about?
Comment by Marcus November 9, 2010 @ 1:21 amIt’s not me talking Marcus, it’s sentimentality.
Comment by Rob November 9, 2010 @ 1:24 amno campbell, its definitely you doing the fucking talking.
Comment by andy@cynic November 9, 2010 @ 1:27 ammarcus, i seem to recall you having a similar level of sentimentality about the bavarian clouds, last time we met….
Comment by lauren November 9, 2010 @ 2:51 amYou are a genius.
Only you can write a comment where unless I say I have been affected by recent events, I admit I am – in your words – a “twatty planner”.
The thing is I have been affected – as have you, as you well know – but as the last 4 years of this blog will demonstrate, the ridiculousness of this post is just inkeeping with the general attitude of this blog so sadly it would appear I am one of those twatty planners.
Comment by Rob November 9, 2010 @ 1:24 amof course i am but its not made me write shit like this.
you get let off for acknowledging my genius. bit fucking late but thats you through and through.
Comment by andy@cynic November 9, 2010 @ 1:29 amgod bless you Campbell.
Comment by Marcus November 9, 2010 @ 1:33 amhe did.

Comment by andy@cynic November 9, 2010 @ 3:10 amYou only get sentimental about British Weather when you don’t live here – thank God it gives the socially inept British something to talk about though
Comment by northern November 9, 2010 @ 1:39 amI was in London last week. I didn’t talk about the weather.
Comment by Marcus November 9, 2010 @ 1:40 amyoure turning into a kraut. fucking sort it out.
Comment by andy@cynic November 9, 2010 @ 1:50 amcock
Comment by Marcus November 9, 2010 @ 2:50 amstop fucking flirting with me.
Comment by andy@cynic November 9, 2010 @ 3:09 amthat would be true with normal people northern groper but campbell can get sentimental about a fucking shoelace or he could if the twat actually wore shoes that needed the fucking things instead of having a love affair with those fucking stupid birkenstock shitty shit.
Comment by andy@cynic November 9, 2010 @ 1:53 amok rob, so you may be a tad kooky right now, but consider yourself in excellent company: john constable and JMW turner – both famous, important english painters, also went gaga over clouds. both felt that they were symbolic, unique and reflected identity as much as landscape.
and i think it’s shit like that which undoes the traveller whenever we go home. enjoy.
Comment by lauren November 9, 2010 @ 2:55 amI’ve always loved you Lauren!
Heading to Amsterdam today – I’ve missed you haven’t I. On the brightside, I’m going to be put in meeting hell so I’d only get to say hello and have you stamp on my foot, so I guess we remain 2 ships who haven’t passed in the night.
Comment by Rob November 9, 2010 @ 3:01 pmsadly, impossible from my end too – i am up to my eyeballs in artwork deadlines at the moment and, as i suspected, a 12-hour turnaround trip for a footstamp is as impractical as it sounds. but, enjoy meeting hell – i hear it’s cosy.
Comment by lauren November 9, 2010 @ 6:47 pmyoure comparing campbell to turner and constable?
wheres the crystal meth when i need it.
Comment by andy@cynic November 9, 2010 @ 3:08 amhmmm… well, maybe not in his output. but his outlook.
i think you should just go find your meth anyway – you’re so sexy when you are itching your face off.
Comment by lauren November 9, 2010 @ 4:11 amthats what they all say. well superfuckingmodels anyway.
