So not only do they start putting kids in the water the moment they’re out the womb, but they encourage them to swim by basically hanging the little buggers by the neck.
Genius.
I daren’t imagine what they do to train the relay team – maybe dynamite sticks?

youre wrong campbell, they are breeding swimming heads to win gold in the para olympics and those little red and balloons are other heads waiting to fucking hatch.

Comment by Age April 24, 2008 @ 8:31 amMaybe I was wrong, maybe it’s some weird Japanese Sumo for babies competition. In a swimming pool.
[Note how I ignored your daft comment Andy 😉 ]

Comment by Rob April 24, 2008 @ 2:40 pmThey need to give them short shins and long arms. Maybe serial breaking and re-shaping of bones is the next stage..
Comment by northern April 24, 2008 @ 3:41 pmYou’d look scared if Campbell was pointing his lens at you.
Comment by John Dodds April 24, 2008 @ 4:51 pmIs that because they’re too old for you to bother photographing Mr Dodds?

Comment by Rob April 24, 2008 @ 5:37 pmJUST INCASE SOME HALF WIT POPS BY THIS BLOG AND THINKS I ENJOY WATCHING KIDS IN THIS SITUATION – I CAN ASSURE YOU I DON’T AND THIS IS NOTHING MORE THAN A STUPID BIT OF FUN ON A STUPID BLOG WHICH REPRESENTS MY PERSONAL OPINIONS AND NONE OF THE COMPANIES I WORK/ASSOCIATE WITH. THANK YOU 🙂
Comment by Rob April 24, 2008 @ 5:45 pmWhen I was their age they didn’t give us anything, it was either sink or swim. It was the government’s way of encouraging people to have more kids I think
Comment by Andrea April 24, 2008 @ 7:19 pmHad you not written your legal disclaimer comment, I’d of regarded this photo as cute and amusing but now it all feels slightly sinister so in future may I recommend you ignore whoever it was that planted the seed of doubt in your mind, because what they actually have done is create concern in readers minds where previously there would have been none.
Comment by George April 24, 2008 @ 7:36 pmGeorge, believe me, there was always concern. It was always there.
Comment by Marcus April 24, 2008 @ 7:41 pm$1
Comment by John Dodds April 24, 2008 @ 8:59 pmI think it would be best if I make a hasty retreat at this point.
Comment by George April 24, 2008 @ 10:44 pmNo Northern (“Maybe serial breaking and re-shaping of bones is the next stage..”) that is reserved for their baby future gymnasts ! That and tying them up folded for days on end ! (Pure heresay of course !)
