CSI

Remember this?

Now read this.

Personally I think it’s a bollocks excuse – especially as Andy didn’t have any problem listing himself down as ‘Creative Director’ so shouldn’t have any issue listing himself down if he contributed to the work – but hey this is adland and honesty is relative here.

Of course no one can really take the issue on because then the whole house of flimsy cards would fall down – but as much as I find the whole thing funny, I think the excuse is pretty pathetic and resembles the sort of rubbish an MP would spout for sleeping with a $2 crack whore in his hotel suite. While wearing a nappy.

Oh well, it’s not like it matters in the real World does it?  🙂

It’s funny, but I don’t see the reason for it at all…

The reason – or alleged reason – is to improve the agency creative evaluation in Campaign Brief, any other reason is plain bull because it’s not like Saatchi’s aren’t as whore-like for awards like every other agency!

my favourite line is “Saatchis Singapore has won a swathe of metal at awards shows across the globe over the past year”… a swathe of metal?? i’m imagining a bunch of ad exec types pulling some awesome rock guitar moves to iron maiden and judas priest… ah, but i can dream.

where is the scandal?
so they get a monkey synonym on credits.
it gets number one.
apart from that it takes the piss out of ad industry
and the crazy run for awards…who cares?
the only thing is that I am not sure who is the idiot.
Campaign Brief? Or Saatchi. I think first.
