… the divorce rate for executives in advertising, compared to other industries?
Also, is there any skew towards ex-pats versus people working in their home country?
If anyone who can help, I’d be very grateful – and no, this is nothing to do with me or Andy or anyone else I know directly, ha!

Comment by andy@cynic March 29, 2007 @ 10:55 amOpening Pandora’s Box?
That sounds like an act of infidelity in itself!
Comment by Rob March 29, 2007 @ 11:00 amvery witty you bastard
Comment by andy@cynic March 29, 2007 @ 11:11 amI’m sure Halibut Fisher would have something on this. What do you need it for…what’s your hypothesis?
Comment by fredrik sarnblad March 29, 2007 @ 11:37 amI don’t have the specific data you want, but I do have some other stuff about the favored social activities of individuals in industries like Government, Advertising, Finance. Will that help?
Comment by Pete March 29, 2007 @ 11:45 amYes Fred – quite possibly a Halibut Fisher research study – however because I’m lazy and you sit 2 feet away from me, I’ll simply TALK to you about my hypothesis as opposed to risking RSI by typing it all out. Pretty sure you can guess though.
And Pete – yeah, I’d love to see that stuff, can you email it?
Comment by Rob March 29, 2007 @ 11:49 amWill dig it out and email it. It’s got flaws but its still quite an interesting read.
Comment by Pete March 29, 2007 @ 11:51 amDon’t worry though, I know you will be the exception to the rule in the high powered advertising executive chapter. 🙂
starting an international online dating service for ad execs?
Comment by lauren March 29, 2007 @ 1:05 pmWhy is everyone suspicious when I ask a question like this????
Comment by Rob March 29, 2007 @ 1:17 pmLauren, did you mean an online dating service for married ad execs?
Comment by fredrik sarnblad March 29, 2007 @ 1:24 pmDon’t you start Fred …
Comment by Rob March 29, 2007 @ 1:34 pmrob – you have to admit that compared to the rest of your blog posts, it’s pretty out of left field… even compared to sausages and excess birkenstocks..
i don’t think i meant that fred, but perhaps you know something i don’t, so… (shrug)
Comment by lauren March 29, 2007 @ 1:46 pmYou know what Lauren – Fred is FAR closer to the mark than you’d think.
No, not because I want to set up an ‘Executive Relief Company’ but because I want to see how prevelant ‘sexual philandering’ is in this industry compared to others. There is a reason for this too … but I can’t let on yet. Sorry.
Comment by Rob March 29, 2007 @ 1:53 pmHope this isn’t cold feet Mr Campbell.
Comment by NP March 29, 2007 @ 2:31 pm😉
Comment by Marcus Brown March 29, 2007 @ 2:35 pmLet me assure everyone this isn’t cold feet as far as Rob’s concerned.
Comment by fredrik sarnblad March 29, 2007 @ 3:01 pmThank you for jumping to my defence – and NP, I was fawning all over you a few posts ago, so I hope this new ‘antagonise Rob’ attitude won’t force me to change my view, ha!
Comment by Rob March 29, 2007 @ 3:30 pmI don’t think I want to know…
Comment by Rob Mortimer March 29, 2007 @ 4:36 pmI was just genuinely concerned for the future Mrs. Rob that’s all.
Comment by NP March 29, 2007 @ 7:50 pmHave you not noticed how much time I spend here? That’s all I need to say about what I think of you and what you say.
We’d better bloody meet this year. By the way, are you coming to Russell’s interesting conference? I may be speaking (or at least supplying a video)
Ace. I think I have a 3 minute slot as well.
