Sure it’s not the greatest ad in the World, but I do like the sentiment of the idea … a letter is written with emotion whereas an email is written with efficiency.
Hmmn, so I wonder what that makes the post below written by? Have a wild guess … ha.

i’d like to see the next frame of that shot – where she’s covered in white body paint and his writing’s all crumpled and smudged up (and more like the letters you actually end up getting delivered from Aust Post)
Comment by lauren February 22, 2007 @ 9:37 amWith that level of cynicism, you should be working for us!
Comment by Rob February 22, 2007 @ 9:45 amWhat would this ad look like if was one of those emails where you mistakingly press reply instead of forward?
Comment by NP February 22, 2007 @ 3:53 pmEh?
Comment by Rob February 22, 2007 @ 5:17 pmA client sent an email with a really stupid request, I forwarded it to a the creatives with the comment, “Silly cow”.
Comment by NP February 22, 2007 @ 7:56 pm..except I didn’t forward it, I’d replied by mistake
You are Andy’s hero. Oh go on then, you’re mine as well. And what the hell happened then? God, this is more exciting than the cliffhanger of Dallas … but not quite as exciting as the Sausage competition.

Comment by Rob Mortimer February 22, 2007 @ 8:01 pmThis is absolute gospel:
Comment by NP February 22, 2007 @ 8:12 pmShe phoned the account director and said she’d forwarded the email to the marketing director… and was going straight to see him to demand I be either fired or we lose the account.
She did.
Problem was he agreed with me.
He fired her that day – he just hadn’t got around to it yet, but this was the perfect excuse. He also bought me a bottle of Laphroig fir my barefaced cheek.
I did get a written warning – but in the end it was worth it.
And the moral of the story? Free tennis lessons can save your career. Thanks to me, he finally beat his best mate in three hard fought sets.
This isn’t in my CV…
Comment by NP February 22, 2007 @ 8:13 pmGenius, and I love the twist at the end with the initially obscure tennis reference…
Comment by Rob Mortimer February 22, 2007 @ 8:14 pmBrilliant. Honestly brilliant.
Comment by Marcus Brown February 22, 2007 @ 8:33 pmThat is absolutely brilliant … dynamite story with an astounding ending. I am proud of you, Leeds and your client with the sacking capabilities!
Comment by Rob February 22, 2007 @ 9:58 pmI’ll tell you my five a side story with Northern Rock another time…
Comment by NP February 22, 2007 @ 11:59 pmOH GOD YES PLEASE …
