All I know about this picture is it was taken by a friend of mine because it appeared on my Facebook feed.
Except I can’t remember which friend.
But I love it.
I love the colour of the drink.
The way the hand is perfectly placed and poised.
The reflection on the tray … unable to stop the burnt orange colour shining on the tray but looking like it is exploding out of the centre.
I love the way the seat and the walls of the plane seem to have the same type of look and feel.
Warm. Fabric. Like a favourite jumper at winter.
I love the clouds poking out of the window.
I love that as the person flies through the sky at hundreds of miles per hour, it looks like they’re preparing to relax as if they’re going at 5 miles per hour.
I don’t drink any alcohol, but that plastic glass looks mighty tempting …
I imagine that if I put it to my lips, I’d experience a strong, rich orange flavour that is ice cold and utterly refreshing.
A drink you’d sip because of it’s intensity and desire to make it last longer.
That photo makes me want to drink that glass.
That’s a better ad than most I see these days.
But it’s not an ad.
