Are you fucking mad Fred? I can only just about put up with Rob when he is in Geldof mode, going on about his “fan club” might turn him into some Oprah spouting bitch and then everything collapses. Nice post though Rob, I know who its about and you hit the nail on the head.

I am well aware of the seriousness of a full scale Oprah situation, Billy. Fully aware. We’ve lived with an orange alert for a while. But with all the love going around on this blog [including yours above] as well as the amount of time many of us spend here, we may have to come to terms with the fact that we’re beyond the point of no return.

What may neutralise the impact of the situation, however, is a carefully planned and coordinated launch of the Neurofen campaign across the US, Europe, Australasia, the Middle East and Africa. This would infuriate one person in particular, which could potentially bring us from an Oprah state towards a slightly more manageable Oprah-Geldoff state. The sudden and complete collapse of McCann is an event which could have similar affects. But neither will happen spontaneously. Both require resources, let alone people who believe in this cause. Ad men of the world, unite!

Rob, I’ll have to agree with Mary that this is a beautiful post. I know this makes me gay in Andy’s opinion and that it could aggravate the Oprah situation. So be it.

Even if I was gay and wanted to get into the closet, I couldn’t … Tom Cruise is in there and he’s not willing to budge.

And if this blog is anything, it’s more the home for abuse and vindictiveness than the future of anything to do with communication – unless that IS the future of communication, hahaha!

Andy … saying this doesn’t mean I am gay – it shows my ‘sensitive side’ and that gets the chicks almost as successfully as having millions of dollars in the bank, even if you’re a fat shit 🙂

You already have that reaction from most of the guys in the office Jemma, you’re just too fussy with your “tastes” to give us any confidence in speaking up. Don’t tell me, we’re all like fucking brothers to you.

Billy you are a total cutey and I find it so hard to contain my attraction for you but we work together so it’s impossible to let our love flourish even if there is no policy against it. 😉

It always makes me a little sad when Rob does this we behave like dicks. If I didn’t, for a fact, know that we all love him (in a non-gay way Andy) then I would get really fucking angry about it.

I like it when Rob rants, but I like this stuff more. It’s difficult, raw and honest. It says about about him as it does about the person he’s talking about – it’s actually Rob at his best.

Shame he eats wax fruit and makes a tit of himself.

Just like Andy isn’t really satan, Rob isn’t really about hate.

He’s actually an emotional and sentimental bugger who simply wants justice/respect for those he feels deserve it. I know lots of people (including a few clients) think he’s just about anti mediocrity but there’s much more to him than that, probably because of the parental values he had shoved onto him from day one. 🙂

I know what you’re saying Marcus, but rest assured, the fact he doesn’t say anything about these sort of comments shows he sees us as friends because when that is not the case, I’ve seen how he reacts and it makes Andy look almost pleasant 🙂

Now more importantly, how is everything with the little one? Hope it’s going OK.
