Afternoon Peace
This is the view from the beautiful lodge I’m staying at in the middle of Victoria.
Well, I should say the lodge I WAS staying at because I’m at the bloody airport again … on my way back to Singapore, even though I have to be back in Melbourne on Tuesday morning!
Anyway, the temperature was crisp [read: freezing] … the air unbelievably fresh and I’ve been surrounded by loads of green trees, open spaces and hearty food … so all in all it’s felt more like a holiday than work which reminds me why many people in advertising have little or no understanding about the stresses, frustrations and worries the general population go through each and every day.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the fact my job lets me experience amazing stuff in amazing places … but I hope to God I never start to take it for granted!
Morning Freeze

Morning.
Comment by Marcus July 11, 2007 @ 2:13 pmRob, you’re not wrong. Worrying about a deadline, or how to make people interested in your new bisucuit is not quite the same as facing a day in the call centre.
Comment by NP July 11, 2007 @ 6:05 pmNotice how I somehow managed to avoid having a go there, you lucky sod.
Comment by NP July 11, 2007 @ 6:05 pmSo far wanting to be in advertising has cost me a fortune and taken up a hell of a lot of time and effort…so it better bloody be worth it!!
Comment by Rob Mortimer July 11, 2007 @ 6:09 pmWhat do you get when you cross Rob with international advertising? One lucky bastard. Love Billy.
Comment by Billy Whizz July 11, 2007 @ 9:41 pmAt least I had the decency to say I was a flukey bastard and didn’t go with the ‘but you don’t understand the pressure I am under’ bollocks.
Any kudos for that? Nah … didn’t think so!
