The Musings Of An Opinionated Sod [Help Me Grow!]

When Sydney Is Good …

Yeah, there’s the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge … but the thing I really love about Sydney aren’t those icons, it’s the light.

Now I know this makes me sound hippyshitish, but it’s true – and having lived away for the best part of 2 years – I noticed it even more when I went back.

Just like the sound of lawnmowers takes me back to being a kid watching my dad cut the grass at our house in Nottingham, and the sound of an ice cream van reminds me of playing footie with my mates on Greythorn Drive park … the light in Sydney immediately transports me to a time where the pressures in my life were a lot less than I find they are now.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my life at the moment … it’s just that in Australia, I had a greater social-network around me than I have in Asia … which goes to show that as much as technology lets you stay connected to friends and family – there’s nothing like ‘experiencing’ them in the flesh [the air, the light, the sounds] to make you feel like you’re really ‘together’.

Like the campaign idea we’re about to launch for SONY say’s … a life without feelings, is no life at all. [FEEL]

Very true.
Nice plug as well, I like the sound of the campaign already…

It’s now in the hands of Mr and Mrs Research … so I’m hoping you’ll see the launch idea without too many ‘changes’, ha
